Jason Warner moved from Montana to Salt Lake City, Utah in 1995 when he was 18 years old to get a fresh start in framing and construction. He did so well with it that he decided to start his own company called Mountain View Homes in 2000. Right away Jason got in with a lot of big companies that loved both him and his work. In no time Mountain View Homes was working with many custom home builders, building very custom and elaborate homes for both home shows and home owners, and running up to four full crews to keep up all the work.

At the beginning of 2008 the economy had begun to die down, and Jason decided that he wanted to broaden his horizon in the construction field, so it was then that he begun to research working with timbers. The more Jason found out about timbers and the amazing structures that can be built with them, the more he loved them. So in March of 2008 he begun building and perfecting him and his crews work with timbers. Soon enough they were building much more timber structures than homes and their work was some of the most elaborate timbers structures in the valley.

In January of 2009 Jason changed the business name from Mountain View Homes to Mountain View Timbers. With now specializing in both framing and timbers he and his crews were able to build from top to bottom some of the most beautiful homes and timber structures around. Since then Mountain View Timbers has worked with many companies and suppliers, perfecting their timber work and making sure each one of their products not only have the best structural beauty, but that they have used the best materials for each unique individual job.
